We had breakfast prepared by Lynn, and another walk along the beach, before leaving for England around 12. Lynn packed us some lunch to have on the way, which was really useful as we were a little pressed for time. It was a 5 hour drive to Loftus and we were supposed to meet up with the Hepplestons at Grinkle Lane before heading into town to listen to Jennie's brother's band at the Station Hotel.
All went according to plan, and we met the Heps at Lane Farm, Jennie's brother and sister-in-laws BnB, in enough time to have some food and drinks outside and catch up on the past 10 years!
The band, called Bowl of Stupid, was really good, playing punk rock mainly. They did a deadly version of the Who, and the audience was very appreciative, with a group of shaved heads (male) dancing the night away. The pub was a dive but nobody cared - brought back good memories of our band days!
